Ayurvedic Body Types (Doshas)

Every person falls into one of these body types or a combination:

1. Vata Type (Air & Space)

  • Thin, light build
  • Quick thinking, energetic, creative
  • Dry skin, sensitive digestion
  • Imbalances: anxiety, insomnia, constipation, joint issues

2. Pitta Type (Fire & Water)

  • Medium build, sharp features
  • Intelligent, determined, ambitious
  • Warm body, good digestion
  • Imbalances: anger, ulcers, inflammation, skin rashes

3. Kapha Type (Earth & Water)

  • Solid, heavy build
  • Calm, caring, stable personality
  • Oily skin, slow metabolism
  • Imbalances: weight gain, lethargy, congestion, depression
