Ayurvedic Body Types (Doshas)
Every person falls into one of these body types or a combination:
1. Vata Type (Air & Space)
- Thin, light build
- Quick thinking, energetic, creative
- Dry skin, sensitive digestion
- Imbalances: anxiety, insomnia, constipation, joint issues
2. Pitta Type (Fire & Water)
- Medium build, sharp features
- Intelligent, determined, ambitious
- Warm body, good digestion
- Imbalances: anger, ulcers, inflammation, skin rashes
3. Kapha Type (Earth & Water)
- Solid, heavy build
- Calm, caring, stable personality
- Oily skin, slow metabolism
- Imbalances: weight gain, lethargy, congestion, depression
